ABOUT ME
There is something about hearing an old song on the radio, or watching a black and white movie. What it lacks for in sound quality or color, it makes up in nostalgia. I am always left yearning to taste of a more simple time. Something wholesome. Something that boasted in elegance and proper creativity. As a child I would stare at pictures painted in young readers literature. Paint has a way of capturing a moment and speaking to the viewer in a way no other medium can. While all mediums are artistic, paint has always drawn me in. I have been blessed to be born into an artistic family who has taught me the value in appreciating small moments not just large events. I currently live in a small town located in the middle of Utah. There is no shortage of wildlife or nature. From vast desert landscapes to tall mountain ranges it is an artist dream! Through the use of oil and water colors I labor to create images that I am proud to display that remind me of what I value from the world around me. I hope you are able to share in this excitement in viewing my works.
“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”
- Andy Warhol
